Purpose: The purpose of this tutorial is to instruct teachers how to access the RCSD curriculum developer for their home so that it may assist them with planning their lessons and units for their classes. This resource is very useful to new and experienced teachers, but is currently an underused resource, because many teachers do not know how to access it from their home.

Purpose: It is important teachers understand how to run this report, so that they may focus on increasing their student attendance. Typically teachers do not know how their attendance is viewed by the school or district, therefore seeing their percentages helps them to see how they can improve and work towards increasing their student attendance percentage.




How to Write a Paragraph: using SMART recorder from SMART Notebook

audience: 8th grade students
lesson: Discuss elements of a paragraph and what makes paragraph
Purpose: To familiarize and remind students about the element of a paragraph. Paragraphs seem simple, but many kids use only one detail to support their topic sentence and they need to realize they should be closing their paragraphs with a concluding sentence. This screencast reminds them to do these things.
